§ 46-120. No suspension of laws.

  • All provisions of the ordinances of the city as now existing or as may be amended from time to time, and all provisions of the statutes of the State of Georgia applicable to general law cities shall be a part of any resulting contract from this article as fully as if the same had been expressly stated herein, and said the city retains and may exercise all of the governmental and police powers and all other rights and powers not directly inconsistent with the terms, conditions and provisions of this article.

Section 22 of Ord. No. 10-11-84, adopted Nov. 15, 2010, changed the title of § 46-120 from "City ordinances and state law considered part of contract" to "No suspension of laws."
