The city shall hereby grant to companies a nonexclusive contract pursuant to the terms
set forth herein to use the public streets, alleys, roads and thoroughfares within
the city for the purpose of operating and engaging in the business of collecting and
disposing of waste; including, but not limited to, contracting with customers and
providing service pursuant to contract therefore, placing and servicing containers,
operating trucks, vehicles and trailers, and such other operations and activity as
are customary and/or incidental to such business and service.
